How to get makeup out of carpet
We have a medium pile carpet in a bedroom and our granddaughter spilled some makeup on the carpet. Any ideas on getting this out?A steam cleaner didnt do it.

Your best bet is to call a carpet cleaning professional. DIY cleaning methods may have compounded the cleaning problem. Keep affected areas misted with water to keep damp until professional cleaner arrives in order to prevent stain from setting.

Sorry to have to say this, but the steam cleaner may actually have set the stain permanently.

a solvent would remove it...IF it was the first thing tried...now that you have made an attempt i would say go with a professional
additional attempts may set the stain were a bonded insert is needed to replace the affected area, which is usually more expensive than the cleaning
