help cleaning slate shower, calcium, clr

im not sure how to clean my slate shower, everything seems to come off ok other then then calcium, or whatever that white stuff is all over my grout. the grout was dark grey but now the whole floor is pretty much white.

i have used a few cleaners but really nothing is even touching it.

i bought some clr and was ready to use it but it says not to use on natural slate. so i havent touched it.

also i have something leaching in my tiles all around the tiles on the walls. i did seal my tiles but i guess that was over 6 months ago. now im afraid of sealing because i dont want to seal this crap in.

oh help me!!!!

here is a link to a similar question posted on the forums in the past...should provide useful info

http://forum.doityourself.com/floori...wer-floor.html

acidic cleaners can etch the tiles and cause them to be even harder to clean.

depending on the sealer used you may need to reapply...a good solvent based penetrating sealer is what i go with the most...but that will require that the tile be clean and dry for a good day.. so the solvent can soak in
