Ballpoint ink stains on polyurethane jacket

My wife has an off-white 'leather-look' jacket which, according to the label is 100% polyurethane, and is washable.

The jacket has a couple of blue ballpoint marks (short lines) on it and I am looking for some advice on how to safely remove these marks.

Does anyone have any experience in doing this successfully or have any suggestion as to how this can be achieved?

I have found rubbing alcohol works best. Just keep dabbing it on with a clean cloth or cotton balls until it comes out, then wash per instructions.
