Removing BAD dog smell from flooring

I am looking at purchasing a house that was foreclosed. The previous tenants had dogs and they have trashed the intrior of the house. If it were only the carpeting then I would not be som worried about it. They went as far as tearing up the carpet and leting the dogs 'go' on the bare floor.

What can i do with the flooring before I either carpet or put down tile or hardwood?

Can I get any of it out, or just seal it in? I can not see where it has stained the bottom but I do not know if the smell will og through the usb or not.

might as well count on getting rid of carpet, padding, baseboard trim...maybe even some drywall on the lower parts

seal subfloor and then overlay as you want

Ok what would you recommend for sealing it, Urethane or kilz type stuff. I atleast planned on sripping every room down to bare flooring and going from there. Just wasn't sure where to go from there.

An oil base primer like kilz will probably work, a pigmented shellac like zinnser's BIN will seal in the odors. Latex primers/paints will not adequately seal the odor.
