mildew on book
Have found mildew on outside cover of non-leather book and wish safe method of removing.

Any house hold cleaner like 409 etc should remove it. If it is on more than one book you have an RH problem and should look at ways to reduce it.

a lightly damp rag with a decent cleaner should work...as airman suggested if this was a book in your house..not the basement or anything and it has mildew...you have other issues with the humidity levels in your home
