Tile Grout & White Haze

Kitchen tile floor is 9 years old and the grout in front of the dish washer, stove and 'frig has developed a white haze about 6 to 12 inches out from each appliance. 12 for the washer and 6 for the other 2. Don't know if the heat from them is the cause, but it seems like it just started appearing within the last 6 months. I have tried a 50/50 mix of Vinegar (and I let it stand about 30 minutes) and full strength Hydrogen Peroxide (also let it stand for 30 minutes). Any suggestions on either the cause or how to remove/repair?

Thanks

Ceramica (spanish or Italtian is guess) is what the box says, very ornate 17" tile. It is not glazed and has a lot of what appears to be hand painted corners, and designs etched (for lack of a better word)nto the center. I would say they are not sealed.

I am beginning to think that it might be some sort of floor cleaner residue that the guy who cleans the house is not getting up after he mops the floor. Is that possible?

Thanks
