Sunroom Mildew Problem

I have a mildew problem in an unheated sunroom with many (25) plants. The moisture from the plants plus no circulation other than overhead fan have contributed. Can not heat/cool due to cost....will a de-humidifier solve my problem?? Any solutions would be greatly appreciated! God Bless You!

Yes it will but I don't know how well it will work in the winter. Dehu's or meant to work in warmer temps. Ventilation is for winter. You will need to get a good unit for the low temps. A good unit will cost some dough, so I would look at heating it in the winter.

airman is right...below 60 degrees most dehumidifers stop working. A low temp unit may exceed 200-300 bucks off the top of my heat. I would look into installing baseboard heaters. the nature flow of convention from the windows will give you circulation.

Even if you got a low temp unit...its going to take your power bill up. Mine in the summer time adds 10 bucks at least a month
