Damaged leather table

Hello. I'm hoping you guys can save me. I recently knocked over one of those oil disfusers (the thing ith sticks in the oil) and it appears the oils soaked into my wifes antique wood/leather table. The oils have appeared to have damaged the table and left the leather table red. Is there anyway to fix it, or is this signs of the leather stripping? Thanks!

there are many different types of leather...some are sealed some not sealed.. some coatings can be repairs others not so much.

If this table is a higher end one..i would suggest looking up a cleaning professional in your area that is skilled in leather cleaning and repair

This is a do it yourself website (obviously) but sometimes the answer is hire a pro

This is one of those times

It's just too easy to screw up when working with leather and ruin it

I appriciate you guys replying to my message. I figured there was a chance I would not be able to fix it myself. I'll call around and hopefully be able repair it eventually. Thanks.
