Vacuum fabric cord cover

Hi all,

My newly painted trim is getting badly abraded by the vacuum power cord. Are fabric covers readily available? I know they have them for central vacs (for the hose) but a google search didn't really turn up anything for power cords.

Or perhaps something from a fabric store could be repurposed?

i have seen some cord covers over the years....but couldnt say were you could get one

i would say a good idea would be to come up with a better routine on were you are plugging in and how you can go about vaccum without the cord rubbing edges....if you can take your finger nail and take paint off that may be a prep or paint issue on the trim..i usually try not to round corners with plugs or hoses...or if you have to pull enough slack

Do a google search for "chandelier covers" and you'll find lots of places that sell cord covers.
