How to remove cat urine odors before laying laminate floor
We have just taken up old carpet that was ruined by cat and dog urine. Before we lay laminate, how can we remove lingering odors in subfloor? Kilz?

Ya, you need to seal them in. An oil base primer like Kilz would be bare minimum. A pigmented shellac primer like Zinnser's BIN would be the ultimate sealer. I wouldn't trust any waterbased sealer to do the job.
