With that close up it's hard to tell.
Painted, Melaniet, foil?
Looks like rust from an old screw hole.
Look on the back side of the door, see old screw holes?

We need to know what the kitchen cabinet is made of. That looks like a rust spot.
It's very hard to advise when we don't know what we are looking at.
You stained or painted the hutch white ?

To clarify - the hutch and white cabinet are two different pieces, right??
What have you tried?
If the stain on the white cabinet is left over residue stain [from your fingers] scrubbing with mineral spirits should remove the dried stain.

You can buy mineral spirits in any hardware, big box, paint, home improvement store, etc.
It's a type of paint thinner so you'd find it in the paint department right near the paints and painting supplies.

Mineral spirits shouldn't affect any cured coating. If mineral spirits hurt the existing coating I'd be concerned about what was wrong with the coating. As Pete said it's always best to start out slow.
