Strange, red streaks showing up on white household surfaces??
For the last several months I've noticed red streaks showing up on white household surfaces including the bathtub, fridge, microwave door, and exterior door.
The streaks will come off if I use a magic eraser, but come back a few days later. I can't figure out what they are. They almost looks like a lipstick or nail polish stain.

My guess is that someone is brushing against those surfaces and unknowingly scuffing. As a test circle some of the marks with a pencil. Then erase/remove the red streak and see if the streak reappears inside your marked area. If the scuffs appear elsewhere then it's probably someone making the scuffs. If they reappear in the same exact area then we'll have to know more about the surfaces where it's appearing.

Got Kids?
In my household nobody has ever seen or was ever the cause of any fingerprint, scuff mark, spill, breakage, etc.
Amazing how all that stuff happens on it's own!

Hi everyone and thanks for the responses. There are no kids in the house to blame this on! I actually live alone. The streak marks reappear in the same place after I scrub them off, and they're always the same red colour. I noticed a few more on the bathtub, near the floor. It's very perplexing. I've tried google and can't find anything. The first photo is of the microwave and the second is of the fridge handle. Thank you all for the help, I really appreciate it.

While there is a type of mold that is red, that isn't it. I agree with the others that is just about has to be a scuff mark with the red being transferred from whatever made the scuffs.

That can't be the usual mineral stains. It looks more like a scratch or something. May be a red colour material in contact with tubs. But it's strange that it is everywhere.
