Floor treatment?

Floor treatment?
Buying a 1968 ranch and am curious about cleaning the floors before I move in. I noticed no odors (strangely enough) on inspection, but I am wondering if there is a treatment or cleaning of some sort that would be beneficial. The great room will be rehabbed, with linoleum and old laminate flooring removed before installing new vinyl laminate. Two of the bedrooms have carpet, which had no odors either, but I'm on the fence on if that will remain.
I just want a fresh and clean start before I start the rehab. It will take about 2 months of work before the place is ready to move in.

You can clean if you want. I don't if the flooring will be removed as it's one more step that doesn't provide a benefit in the end. Even when they appear clean I wear a cartridge respirator when removing carpeting as there is always a ton of dust in and underneath carpet. Once down to the subfloor I give it a thorough going over with a shop vac before putting down a new flooring.
