Scratches on stainless steel fridge door

Is there a safe way to get these surface scratches out of my fridge door?

I have a kit for stainless sinks but it specifically says not to use it on appliances.

any tips?

It all depends on what treatment is on that stainless steel.
You can reduce the scratches but doubtful they'll disappear.

You can start with a non abrasive cleaning powder mixed with water.
If that doesn't work you can try a whitening toothpaste.
You can use a soft toothbrush.
Keep applying and rinsing off.
You always want to wipe in the direction of the grain.

After that.... you starting getting in to steel wool and very fine emery papers.
These can damage the surrounding area as much as getting rid of scratches.

Tried Bar Keeper’s friend and while the scratches are still there, it looks a lot better overall. Might go over it a fee more times and try the toothpaste next.

thanks
