Help..my Grandaughter wrote all over her American Girl Doll face with an ink pen and I cannot get the ink off. Any tried and true cleaners out there?

Ink on vinyl doll face

I have read that you can apply Oxy10, the acne medication, and let set for 4-7 weeks.

Oxy-10 (or generic equivalent) does work...place a generous amount on the ink stain; cover with plastic wrap. Some of my doll friends set theirs in the sunlight to hasten. I put mine in the closet (didn't have any secure place while I was at work). In about 3 - 4 days, you should see a difference...the stain may even be gone by then! Usually, within 2 weeks, all stains should disappear. The ink stain on my Crissy doll (vinyl face like the AG dolls) was over 30 years old, and came out after only a week.

Good Luck, Charlene

Smile It's a Miracle !!!!!

My grandaughter had a terrible mess with her two dolls and Gramma fixed it !!!!! A carrying bag left her two dolls with dye from the bag all over the dolls. We assumed they were destroyed but we were instructed to use something with benzyol peroxide (CLEARASIL FOR ACNE). My wife applied the clearasil to the affected areas of the dolls and wrapped in plastic and in the morning the were almost completely healed.
It will probably take another application but the dolls are saved.........The joy in my grandaughters face was something to behold............................Try it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
