Vonage/ VoIP calling
I'm interested in hearing opinions from anyone who is a vonage subscriber on the quality of this service. I'm ready to sign up for it and I wanted to make sure there are no major stumbling blocks in my way. (Such as bad call clarity, loss of service, etc.)
For those who've never seen this before, I'll direct you to the website instead of explaining it myself.

Thanks,
Jed Bickford

I work for a telephone system vendor. We sell phone systems that do Voice over IP.
I don't have experience with this particular company, but I have lots of experience with lots of companies that are just like it.
I have no extensive experience with any particular company of this type.
Here is what I know:
Almost all of these systems will suffer decreased conversation quality during peak system usage.
Almost all of these systems have change at least every 6 months.
This technology, while prevalent, IS fairly new, and comes with some teething pains-- no matter what the company says.
For the $, it is the most effective method of attaining an out-of-your-area dialtone.
good luck,
