Data/voice Cabling

Has anyone heard of Cat 6b cable and if you have can someone tell me where to get information on it?

Cat 6a and 6b are cable structural geometry options. Here is a paper on the subject. The gist of it being that 6b will be better suited for multi-gigabit data transmissions.

Also called Cat6 and Cat6E+..

Cat6E+ is just marketing.. stick with Cat6 for now. No need to be able to accept 10gB technology yet.. infrastructure equipment doesn't really support it yet.

Thanks unfortunatley I know you know but someone doesn't and it is hard to explain something is not necessary to someone who have IT people yelling we need this. Now that I know what they were talking about at least now I can combat it a little
