Connecting a headphone jack (from)...

I need help connecting a headphone jack (normal mini plug) into a phone jack so that I can listen to the radio while I have my phone headset on. Does anyone know if this type of cable connection is sold? Or how to make one myself?

Thanks in advance.

Try a google search, perhaps?

This may sound dumb, but is this even possible? Connecting a mini-din plug to an rj-11 phone jack?

I assume he means to connect to a 1/4" phone plug of the sort that is for older headsets.

This may be want he wants. Part 35-506

Whew, I had never even heard of a RCA-type phone jack before. If that's what you guys mean, ok! I thought this was being tried with a standard rj-11 phone jack!

World Builder, you are correct, I am attempting to locate a connection using the standard RJ-11.

Any other ideas? I can't find anything on the web.

My inclination would be to get a 3.5 mm plug and a RJ-11 and a length of Cat5 and make one. I have been unable to find this combination, otherwise.

Alright Gentlemen, almost there....

I'm down to the last connection. Does anyone know where I can find an adapter that turns a RJ-11 plug into a RJ-9 plug?

No idea... Never heard of such an adapter. Perhaps you'll have to make that yourself, too? Sorry. I hope someone else knows...
