adding a jack in a commercial building
Hello;
I have an office building with two lines and a huge panel of wires. Each jack is numbered, but I wish to connect two lines (which are already in the wall) to the existing panel.
I have my whole office on the first floor and now wish to have one office eon floor number two. SO the previous tenant has his phone on in that offcie now I wish to make the lines connect to my numbers.
I own a buzzer and other phone equipment.How do I proceed?

Without seeing your setup, and knowing exactly what you have in the wire room, it's very difficult to say.
Not to mention, I'm not exactly sure I understand what you want to do.
If you have a KSU/PBX type setup (big phone box on the wall), you should probably call in a contractor to work on it for you - preferably someone who knows how to work on your system.
They are not extremely difficult to work on, but, if you don't know anything about them, they can be extremely daunting.
Good luck!
