Changing a Jack to another line
Hey,
When I had Dial-Up I had a second line installed, and the guy that came out switched a phone jack by my desk to the new number.
When I canceled that line (because I got broadband) the jack doesn't work with the original number (duh). How can I switch this jack back to the original number?

take a jack off the wall thats working look at how the wires are connected now duplicate it on that jack.
proper color code should be line one red/green or white blue /bluewhite
line two black yellow or orange white /white orange
proper color code should be line one red/green or white blue /bluewhite
line two black yellow or orange white /white orange
