Voip to all phone jacks in a newly built house

Ok to start, the telco has never been to this house, it is newly constructed, I am going to be using vonage, there are however phone jacks, with the cat3 wire leading to the outside of the house. And a cat5 from my basement to where the outside phone wires are.

I am trying to get vonage to every phone jack in my house, I have all the lines run, but no NID or junction box on the outside. I am wondering if I can just use an outdoor telephone junction box, and if a ground would be necessary (they all have a center ground screw, but is it necessary for this application). Thanks!

This is how it will work

Router->Vonage adapter-> Cat5 (with RJ11) to outside-> Junction box to all cat3 phone wires.

Do I need to ground the box? Also if I do, can I tap my main ground wire/clamp for the electric, cause it looks like that is what the cable guy did. Thanks

Here is the junction box I am planning to use:

no ground needed

I would look for a bigger box to give you room to splice in , how many cat 3 cables are you going to ?
