LG Verizon VX 3200 quiet/mute

No where in the instruction manual does it mention quite or mute. However, my incoming ringer is on mute, or quiet(indicated). Don't know how this happened? How do I get the phone to ring? The manner mode (vibrates) works and can be turned on a off. Would appreciate any help. Haiki

on the left side of the phone there is an up/down switch press up until it says vib/high and then press the ok button.

Structured Wiring

I am in the planning stage of putting in a structured wiring system. I have done quite a bit of research but still have questions. Almost every room I am going to run 2 cat6 and rg6 runs. My question is about which equipment should I use at the panel? The panels all seem to be simular and will work with other manufactures equipment. The cable hub is simple, I am not sure about the data and phone hub. All of my cat6 lines will use rj45 connectors so I can switch between phone and data. From what I have seen it looks like most equipment is punched down at the panel. This seems like it would be hard to relocate phone to data. I assume that you then would put patch cords to the 'phone block' and the ethernet switch. Basically I am looking for more information which equipment to use in the panel. Please let me know which brands to use or not use. I also would like to set up some sort of security system. Cat5 Jack Pt. 2

I've installed tooless Cat5 jacks on both ends of my cable using the T568A convention; PIN NUMBER COLOR 1 Green/White 2 Green 3 Orange/White 4 Blue 5 Blue/White 6 Orange 7 Brown/White 8 Brown I purchased a Cat5e patch cord and noticed that these wire colors do not match my jack colors. They are set up the following way looking left to right with the snap release pointed up and the connection towards you: orange/white, orange, blue/white, blue, green/white, green, brown/white, brown Is this a problem ?? I feel that if as long as there is 8 wires, regardles of the color coming out of the router, there is a path to send and recieve data. Am I correct ?? Thanks, RayRead More
