Help an Iraq based soldier please

My brother is currently serving inIraq and recently emailed me to help him find a solution to getting internet to his building. It is 200 meters away and we are considering the following options of wireless repeater or bridge. He is currently not sure if there is going to be a direct line of site or not so I cannot answer that question. Does anyone have a link to the pringles can thing? Or any ideas what to do?

fiber with a fiber enabled switch , or a switch with media convertors at each end .

I would think the wireless may not be a good idea with all the electronics and jamming equipment likley to be present at a military installation

as to voip have you tried vonage and the others ?

give them the soldiers in Iraq story and they might evan give him a reduced rate or freebie.
