Cordless Phone Interference

Hi,

I have a Uniden 900MHz Cordless Phone and I have had it for 15 months with no trouble till now. I am getting constant interference with it. I had it in my kitchen and have now moved it into the bedroom thinking that maybe it has something to do with my kitchen appliances. The manufacturer warranty is 1-yr, so I am out of warranty. Does anyone know what is wrong??

have you bought anything new that is constatnly plugged in ?

you can unplug everything in the house except for the cordless and go from there .

could be the interference is coming from a neighbor

Would it be hard to take base and phone to a friends house (distant) and try it. Pain in the butt but simple way to eliminate anything in your vicinity.

I have another cordless phone (different manufacturer) in the house that works great, but this particular one just started having constant interference all of a sudden.

I tried different channels, but it didn't help any.

I'm looking for a cell phone that I can hear ring.. I've got Qwest Cell service and they gave me a motorola that just doesn't ring up very loud.. and the voice quality is lacking also.. my old LG phone at Verizon was loud and I had to turn it down.. my Nextel was loud enough to hear 2 blocks away if you turned it up.. anyway, where do you buy cell phones that work on Qwest without having to pay the high fees at Qwest?.. thanks :confused:Read More

Our place is set up so that we have more than one phone line. We have a phone in our office that we use, but we have phone outlets throughout the rest of the house that I want to hook a phone up to, but they are wired for another line, and I want to switch it so that I can have it on the same line as the one in our office. For example, when I hook a phone up to an outlet in another part of the house, there is no dial tone or anything. Anyone know how I can fix this??Read More
