Question Home Computer Networking

I am installing a Cat 5 Data cabling system in my house and want to ensure I terminate the jacks correctly. I will use 568B. This cable and jacks will only be used for Computer networking. (no voice or video involved). I have permanent runs from a central point(Closet) to each room. There will be RJ45 female wall jacks on both ends of these runs (in rooms, and in closet). PCs in rooms will use patch cables to plug into the RJ45 wall jacks. I will use a patch cable in the wiring closet to plug from each wall jack to a router port. Thus, I need to understand the pin out for the wall jacks in the rooms and in the wiring closet. Thank you.

the wiring diagram will be marked on the jack and it varies by manufactrer.

other than that it sounds like you have it covred ,

use either 568a or b (actully a is the new standard for home networks) but it realy dosnt matter as long as you use the same on each end
