Trying to install second phone line
I don't have much DIY experience but I thought this would be simple.
But when I opened the outside box (two enabled incoming lines from the phone company) I found that the phone cable coming into my house only has red, green, yellow wires. No black. This seems to make it difficult to hook up that second line. Also I'm perplexed as I couldn't find any information on THREE wire phone cables and my house isn't that old (late sixties). Any ideas? Appreciate it!
