Phone Problem

Phone Problem
I have broadband in the house, but it will only work from the main socket, and the telephone is the same. none of the other phones in the house will work. any one any ideas whats wrong? oh and all the filters are connected.

Another idea,
Is this a new install that you can't get working? Do have an alarm system? Even if you're not presently using it?
Some systems will detect the DSL signal and think that the control center is trying to talk to it and won't let the line go. If you have an alarm, locate the control box (typically a biege box about the size of a shoebox), near it or inside the box will be what looks like an oversize phone jack. Unplug the cable from the jack and check your phones.
