i,ve been serching dozens of sites that unlock phones for a fee .my carrier cingular says they cant unlock an at&t locked phone any insight ?. seems i need to buy a new phone for my son.he took a swim with his razor phone.

Looking for a domestic long distance phone service provider for residential use. Trying to set this up for a relative who: * Is a retired senior citizen * Is on a fixed income * Lives in California * Has a large family spread across the US (children, grandchildren, etc.) * Does not have internet access * Does not have a computer Given all of the above, the requirements are: a. Fixed monthly rate b. Unlimited minutes c. NO VoIP d. Can be activated by making a phone call (nice to have) Who would you recommend? AT&T can do this for $40/month. But that is on the expensive side. Is there anything less expensive? Thanks.
