Cell phone useage in car
Cell phone is paired to car radio (bluetooth). How can I switch it back to the handset when I want to have a private conversation without the passengers hearing the conversation through the car speakers. There should be a way I can do this without having to go through a bunch of menus on the phone.
Have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata.Cell phone is through Verizon.
Help would be appreciated

I am not fimiliar with the Hyundai system, but with my Dodge Uconnect system, I believe I can turn off the bluetooth via the off button on my rear view mirror or on my Blackberry, turing off the bluetooth via to top of the screen.
That being said, using a cell phone without handsfree is not exactly legal in some areas (Most of Canada now I believe). Might be worth continuing your private call at another time.

Cell phone useage.
I agree Northern Mike.
The car is my wifes.
When we go out together, I usually drive. If her phone rings she has to shout to answer it as the speaker is above the drivers head. It would be nice if she could switch the phone back so she can use her cell to talk.

Not sure what type phone you have, but my Atrix (android) has a button on the dialer page that allows you to turn on bluetooth, speaker, mute, etc. If it is in bluetooth mode, just click it off and it will default to regular phone.
