lots of static on phone line
As the title says ive got a lot of static noise on my phone line.
There is an old phone line coming from the street (just two wires. One cable. Two wires inside) to the inside of the house(no phone box outside). The two wires splice straight to the house wiring.
All the phones In the house have this static(cordless and corded). Ive even connected the corded phone straight to the line from the street. Problem still exists.
Does anybody know what the cause of the static could be?
