Conduit fill.

What size tube do I need for 2x 5.2mm od cable and what size for 2x 5.2mm and 1x 8.6mm?

We measure in inches here so it would be a 1/2" conduit. In mm, it would be 13mm. You could always go a little bigger, especially if there are turns. I wouldn't go more than an inch or 26mm

That works out to about 33% fill by volume, is that a good rule of thumb?

I don't know if there is a "rule of thumb". I just thought that it would give you some room to move. Is it a straight run?

Is this Cat6 cable? Generally at work we would only put 3 Cat6 in a 3/4" pipe. This is for ease of pulling though, data cable doesn't like to be handled roughly. I have successfully pulled 7 in one 3/4" pipe but was surprised they passed when tested.

Generally data cable is not run in conduit.

This is cat 5e and a small section of 2 5e and 1 cat 6 and its in a conduit because it's being run outside for ip survailence.

He needs that in mm not inches. That would about 17mm.

Thanks Pulpo but pipe size, like TV diagonals is one of those places where, even in metric using countries, imperial measurements still hold on.
