Restoring Western Electric 500 Rotary Phone

Iím wanting to paint an old phone and want to be able to maintain the same alpha numeric design on the dial plate after painting. Iíve seen dial plate overlays online but they donít match the 500 model graphics. Any suggestions on how to recreate these graphics to be added after phone is painted

Show us a picture of the current condition. If you want to maintain the "period" look then maybe you don't want to restore it.

Welcome to the forums!
Do you intend to put this phone back in service or just for display purpose? I'm not sure if the phone companies still support that type of dialing.

My son uses

Take a good quality picture of the current dial plate, head on, no parallax and print the replacement yourself.
