Flip phone keeps vibrating

I accidentally dropped my flip phone into the sink and have managed to dry it out completely to the point that it is functioning in all aspects however the phones vibrate mode is now on all the time..only taking the battery out makes it stop...anyone have any suggestions?

Unfortunately when an electronic device is dropped in water..... there is no guarantee it will return to normal life. Removing the battery and drying out for several days is the best way to handle it.

It sounds like the circuit that runs the vibrate motor may have gotten shorted.
There wouldn't be any way of fixing that.

I'm still using a Motorola flip phone. I can still buy them on ebay for $10-25. I've got one spare. Most cellular companies have an easy way to switch to a different phone. I had one go swimming. It never worked right and had to be put down.

You could probably do that as long as the audible ringer is working.

I don't think that I would spend too much time circumventing the vibrator because it seems like any time I have seen or heard of someone dunking their phone it's more often than not be just one little thing not working right and they think they got off easy but within a couple of days it's toast.
