Hi, I hope this is the right thread; I have an intercom system in my house that does not function. Each room has speaker boxes on the wall which I have just painted over and they are fairly unnoticeable. However the main box in the kitchen is an eyesore and I would like to remove it. I took it off the wall and inside I see a lot of little wires that I can easily detach [b]after turning off the breaker of course[/b]. But the power connector (I think) to the right is what my question is about. Is that a plug that I can just pull out? Or do I just need to cut the wire and cap it off? I have Spectrum Hi-Speed internet. Their modem, my router. I'm thinking that I need to upgrade my router. The one I have is "entry level". In the time that has passed since I bought it, we now have two smart phones, two laptops, and four rooms with Hulu TV. Sometimes, I get a momentary loss of signal. I'm thinking that the first step would be to get a better router. What are the features I should be looking for? I don't have to have "the best", but at least an improvement. Thanx
