computer audio to receivers

We have all of our music CD's recorded on the Computer using Music Match. In our Home Office our computer is connected to a receiver and from there going to several sets of speakers. The computer has two output jacks for going to receivers or speakers. I'm wondering can I have a another receiver about 30 - 40 feet from my computer and buy the correct wire necessary with RCA Jacks and maintain the quality?

Thanks for your suggestions!

You and reasonably do the coax thing. You could split the line outs.

Have you considered using an FM transmitter instead?
