H.P. error code

I have a Hewlett Packarard laser jet series II printer and am getting an error code of 50. What it says on the HP site is that I should unplug the printer for 30 minutes and that the fuser should be looked at. Can anyone tell me what the fuser is, where it is and what would it look like? Thanks

Cool Cleaning...

The fuser is a wire that is charged with a few thousand volts to “Fuse” the toner to the paper. Go to HP’s website and download the PDF manual for you printer. It will/should have detailed directions on cleaning your product…
