It is hard to read posts in all caps.

Programs should be uninstalled not deleted in Windows.

Help can be reinstalled from the cab files, but I don't know how. Someone else will be along later to explain how to do it.

Icon. Right click on the icon, select properties, the shortcut tab has an option to change the icon to your choice.

Hope this helps.

Probably the best thing for you guys to do is just reinstall Windows. You may lose a few desktop settings and such, but nothing serious. This will reinstall the Help files and return your desktop to the way is was.

To remove the Briefcase I think you have to go to Display properties or something like that, I don't know what OS you're using or any pertinent information, so I can't say for sure.

Please use the REPLY button at the bottom of this thread and give us some more info on your system. And if you haven't already, read the "Welcome to Computers Post" close to the top of the Computer Forum. Thanks.
