Cool external cdr/rw

I have an iMac G3 @ 400 Mhz and a DVD drive. I would like to get an external firewire cdr/rw but I'm not sure about what brand to go with. Any recomendations? Thanks.

Well, since I don't have external, or firewire(yet) I can't make any recomendations as to hardware, but...check with any friends who might have something along those lines....be sure to do your homework...know what all the numbers mean when you want to buy something, and search the web for info on the specific products once you get it narrowed down, there are usually alot of reviews. buy from a reputable place, with good return policy...you know, just common sense stuff. When you get one, let us know how you like it. Good luck!!

We use an IOMEGA at work and it's very user friendly. "And looks cool to"

I've looked around, and usually for a nice, fast, firewire drive it runs about $150 (48,40,48). I'll probably try this out and let you know. Thanks
