Drive image software
OK... I have a spare drive that I do my backups onto.. I have been using Norton Ghost.. works fine and I trust it!
Curious if there is something better that you TRUST..
Looking at Acronis True Image, but It is new so I don't trust it yet.
I have nothing to base it on other than it is new...
What about Powerquests Drive Image??
Anyone use these various programs.
I don't want to blow away a drive just to find out that the image I have won't work...
Ghost works OK, but I am just looking for something alittle easier to work with and newer..
Any thoughts??

I have tried drive image and it was ok, but seemed like there should be something better.

I recently used Drive Image to make a backup before installing Linux on my second partition. I actually liked it better than Ghost, but only for the simple reason that I could not get the Ghost Virtual Partition to work right with XP and my booter.
I'll be honest, the only thing I did with Drive Image was make a complete backup of my HD to CD, so I haven't had much experience with (the big ? now - can I restore if I need to???), but so far I like it.
It's really not much different than Ghost though. So if you have a full version of Ghost, I wouldn't go out and buy another Imaging program just because you want something different.
As Tae said, 1-2-3. But, I'm not one to talk, I have to mess with everything. But, that being said, that's why I have an imaging program in the first place
Good luck! Let us know if you come up with something new and better
