How long Microsoft supporting windows 2000?

I want to know how long microsoft Is going to be supporting windows 2000?

windows 98se support end Jan 2004 Right?

Well the system will still work after that won't It like windows 98se?I take It no critical updates would be Issued after Jan
2004 but won't the system still work long after that?Please answer.

Oh yes, it will still run. Think about how many DOS systems there are in stores and businesses. They are not supported by Microsoft, but they work everyday. I have friend still running Windows 3.1.

windows 95

Is windows 95 about the last software to get on the internet?Microsoft doesn't support that anymore i suspect.But I think people are still using It to get on Internet?

I know some guys surfing the internet with Commodore 64. Just because it is not windows gui does not mean no internet. Linux comes with a popular text only browser, Lynx. I don't know how long it has been around.

I remember being on the internet with a 386 before windows 3.1.

I checked it out?

Yup I checked out the microsoft website was going to bookmark and decided not to It's easy to remember anyway...A computer has a short life..but It looks like the only answer now for some people would be a cheaper version of windows 2000 cause they are going to be supported for awhile anyway 2007..other then that It's windows xp Pro
