Chaincast streamer is a big challenge

Anyome else have a whole bunch of trouble trying to download this program?

To listen to many radio stations on the net , you need this program. Real player is a wonderful and simple program to download, but yet Chaincast is just a bear.

does anyone havbe a no nonsense link to download this program.

The Chaincast web site is not helpfull at all.

I found what appears to be a good downloadable link, but i would have had to use there search engine as my home page. i will stay away from that deal.

Since Chaincast uses your connection to relay streams, I would avoid it. You can get plenty of radio from www.live365.com without having to sacrifice your upload bandwidth to support someone else's slow connection. I would just as soon not have anyone else in my computer, relaying audio streams or otherwise. Sounds to be an enormous security risk. Plus, it is running on the relatively insecure Windows Media Player. You can probably get audio streaming from RealPlayer and other sites as well as live365.

(cynical, risk-averse, computer user)

I am not saying that it is a security problem, but it has enough characteristics to present some concerns. Windows Media Player has security problems. Chaincast wants to stream through your connection. This sounds a lot like opening up to problems similar to peer - to - peer file sharing. Just check these things.
