Just recently when I try to open or click on links in my email I get nothing. I'm running winXP Pro and outlook express.
Any help appreciated

What sort of links? Email address links? URL links? How do you know these are truly links, and not just email addresses or URLs that are part of the email?

As an aside, I strongly recommend that you switch from Outlook Express to some other email client. Outlook Express is a substandard email client.

Bob,

Thanks for the quick response. These are URL Links. I emailed myself URL Links and was unable to open them. I also recieved links from a friend and was unable to open them. I do my banking online and was unable to open the link sent to me to access my account. All this started last week. I did nothing different to my computer. I run "norton" daily. It did detect a "download.trojan" but was unable to do anything with it. I ran "trojan remover 6.0.9" It said there was no trojan on my system. I presume norton isolated it.
Not sure if this is related though.
If I was to change my email program, what would you recommend I use?
I have not had any problem with OE untill now
Thanks
Mike

OK, That was an interesting experience, XP safe mode et all. I learned quite a bit there! Detected 1 bad file. Norton unable to delete it. It was quarantined (sp)
I still cannot get links to open from OE

Make sure that whatever browser you use is listed with Windows as the default browser.

OE is an email client. I asked what is listed as your default browser.
