freeware program for copying text & pics from macromedia?????
looking for a way to put text from a macromedia file into the clipboard file (copy and paste won't work on macromedia) and also a way grab a still image from macromedia. I did get the macromedia image somehow on the clipboard but can't get the pics off of the clipboard. running windows 98 se, also have photoshop 3 and 7. not really a major deal, just wondered if there was a way to do it, or is there a free-ware program that would do it. thx.

I assume when you say Macromedia, you mean the Flash files?
I found a program called Flash Saver from DownloadAtoZ.com a few months back. I haven't tried it yet, but supposedly it will save the animations from Macromedia Flash files.
Not sure if that's what you want to do, but it may be worth looking in to.
Good luck!
One more thing - it's not freeware
- but it's only $25 to register it.

Also be aware, it may not be legal to save copies of flash files. If someone has copyrighted the material you probably can't legally keep a copy of it.
