Run anti virus software and after you do that run scandisk or norton disk doctor to check your hard disk for errors.

You might need to re-install it, if it fails to run.

You can delete the current My Briefcase, then right click on the Desktop, select New, select Briefcase, and a new one will be created. Then you should be able to run it.

Hope this helps.

try right click

I know a person can set there mouse up so you can only open a icon by right click then left click open..amounts to same thing thou
You can also set things so just one left click opens icon[Instead of two]these computers are a little bit too adjustable?

I think Chris is correct

The icon is a shortcut. Either it has become corrupted or the folder is no longer on the hard drive.

Are there any documents in it? If so, you may want to go to explore and look for the folder or do a search for the folder (or files if you remember the names).

If you don't need any of the docs stored in it, just delete the icon and create a new one as Chris pointed out.
