Accessing Presario 9548 Setup

Hello All,

I'm new so excuse me if I'm asking the wrong type of question in this forum. I need help! I FDISK'd and installed W2K on a Presario 9548. Aparently, FDISK was a bad thing to do because now I can't access the cmos setup. I contacted HP who directed me to two sites (http://************/2f825 and http://************/yuubo) to update my BIOS. I downloaded the files and updated my BIOS but am still not able to access the BIOS using either F10 or ctrl-alt-esc. Of course when I went back to HP they directed my to visit my friendly neighborhood Compaq Service Agent

If anyone out there has a fix please share.

Generally, when the computer first boots and is counting RAM and detecting drives, press Delete to open the BIOS. With this one, I found that press F1 or F10 when the cursor moves to the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Presario 9548
P100 minitower, 16 MB Ram, 1.6 GB drive, 28.8K modem Maximum 136 MB RAM. Circa 1995

I wonder how well Win2000 will run on this dinosaur?

You might have more luck with a more current computer.
