cd-rw

Hello
I find that to save to cd-rw with windows(rt click send to) I cannot erase a single file I must erase the whole disc-I can amend a file though.
With Sonic's record now I was able to select data, files and folders and could do all I wanted.
THEN it was pointed out to me that with DLA(drive letter access) I could make the disk more universally readable. I never have used this but have the option.
Does anyone know specifically about this?
Pete

What OS do you have? WinXP handles DLA natively (via a Roxio driver), and it treats a CDRW drive just like a floppy disk. I can delete files individually if I like.
I really never use the send to command, I just copy and paste.

Hi Trinitro
You are right and I also have xp. record now does what you say but I read dla cannot be copied. Also, I wonder if another pc could read it .
Let me know your thoughts.
Pete
P.S. I guess I'm looking for the same as a floppy where you can copy, amend, and play it in any pc if saved as rtf.
