adapter for monitor cable

I am currently in the process of connecting 2 cpu's to 1 monitor, keyboard, mouse via KVM Switchbox. I bought the cables in a package that says "PS/2 cable Kit for KVM Switches. My problem is........when I went to connect the monitor cable the packaged cable has 1 end (9pin) male and the other is (9pin) female. I need it to be both ends (9pin) male. My question is........is there an adaptor to convert the female end to a male end or will I have to buy a new monitor cable? Since I already opened the bags I don't think Fry's will take them back. System Configuration Utility

I downloaded and used the MSCONFIG utility that is missing from Windows/2000 so that I could block some sypware processes from starting. I modified the startup settings. Now when I start my computer, I get the following message: "You have used the System Configuration Utility to make changes to the way Windows starts. "The System Configfuration Utlilty is currently in Diagnostic or Selective Startup mode, causing this message to be displayed and the utility to run every time you Windows starts. "Chose the Normal Startup mode on the General tab to start Windows normally and undo the changes you made using the System Configuration Utility." Then there is a box for me to chack that says "Don't show this message again or launch the SCU when Windows starts." Anyone have any idea what this is all about and what I do? Thanks, ChrisRead More
