Kazaa lite download site?

It's been a while since I've investigated Kazaa, and a trip to KazaaLite.com now has a registration screen complete with credit card requirement! The FAQ says "the software is free; the fee covers tech support". Any workarounds for this?

Thanks!

I've been using OverNet lately (I belive Tae suggested this a while back) - much better than Kazaa!!!

What I've found out

I went to the K-lite.tk site, and found that it, too, prompts for a credit card. Apparently Kazaa is selling the Lite version of their software as the Premium package because it does not contain the popups, etc.

One group went so far as to revise the Kazaa code and remove all the annoyances, and published it in a "K++" version. Kazaa got angry, and demanded that any download mirror offering K++ for distribution must remove it- or else the mirror would be sued for copyright infringement! Apparently Kazaa has neither a sense of humor nor a sense of irony.

I found a program called Diet K
http://www.dietk.com/
that removes popups and spyware- it's very highly rated by CNet.

Does Overnet have the same "library" of music?
