message on screen

upon booting up in the morning I get the following message.
" nav auto protect unable to read the config files"
This causes no problems except for pressing enter, but how do I get rid of it?
Thanks

NAV stands for Norton Anti-Virus

I know SafeWatch ... Symantec is the Norton owner but sometimes the acronym makes little to no sense unless explained.

If you deleted NAV, I hope you are using some other anti-virus program.

Running a Windows computer with no anti-virus software or without regular updates to your anti-virus software is foolish.
