Question email-able self extracting exe's

can anyone suggest to me a program (s) that would let me make a self extracting exe slide show, that I would be able to email. I have received a few of these over the years, in emails, and still have no answers as to what program they use.

Thanks,
Janice

Check out FlipAlbum.

It makes great CD's, not sure about emailing.

I would not bother making a self extracting executable. I would simply make the slide show and send it zipped up.

If you send an executable file, many people won't receive it, and some who do won't open it.

Many mail servers and some email clients block executable files because of the dangers of viruses, trojan horses and worms.

blocked exe's

I do believe you're right......I just sent one to myself, and I didn't get it.....so my server has probably held it....
I'll just zip them as you suggested.
Thanks.

Didn't mean to imply you didn't do a search, just saying that when i did, i found alot of programs. By the way, i use irfanview, just have never used it for a slideshow. It is a great program!
